Aggro

Q: Why do monsters attack me even if I didn’t attack them?

A: There are two possibilities:
1. The monster has an aggressive trait, and passing near it may trigger an attack.
2. You healed a player who was attacking the monster.

Q: Why do a group of the same type of monsters attack me after I attack one that doesn’t normally attack players?

A: There are two possibilities:
1. The monster has a racial assistance trait, where nearby monsters of the same race may join the fight if one is attacked.
2. The monsters are part of a Team, and attacking one triggers their Team assistance.

Q: Why do monsters attack only me and not other players?

A: There are two possibilities:
1. You are currently dealing the most damage to the monster.
2. Your cumulative healing amount is extremely high, drawing the monster’s attention.

Q: How can I make monsters stop attacking me and target other players instead?

A: The following methods can stop monsters from attacking You:
1. Stop attacking or healing and move away from the monster, escaping to a different screen.
Die.
2. Relog into the game.

Loot Distribution

Q: Why didn’t I receive any items after defeating a monster?

A: Loot drops are not guaranteed when defeating monsters.
Additionally, you will not receive any items, EXP, or Karma if any of the following conditions occur at the moment the monster is defeated:
1. You are in a dead state.
2. The monster is not visible on your screen.
3. You have reconnected after a disconnection.

Q: Does disconnecting during a monster hunt affect my chance of getting loot?

A: Yes.
If your connection drops during the hunt, your damage contribution to the monster will be cleared, making you ineligible for loot distribution.

Q: Does dying during a monster hunt affect my chance of getting loot?

A: No.
As long as you are not in a dead state when the monster is defeated, and the monster is visible on your screen, you will be eligible for loot distribution.

Q: The monster is dead. Why can’t I pick up the items on the ground?

A: You do not have looting permissions. Only the player who was assigned the dropped items is eligible to pick them up initially.
If the eligible player does not loot the items within 40 seconds or dies, other participants who helped defeat the monster will become eligible to loot them.

Q: What factors determine whether I receive items after defeating a monster?

A: The probability of receiving loot is primarily influenced by the following factors:
1. Damage Contribution: The higher your damage dealt to the monster relative to the total damage inflicted by all participants, the greater your chance of obtaining items.
2. Healing Contribution (Team-Only): In a team, healing members who are damaging the monster also increases your loot probability. The more you heal damage-dealing members, the higher your chance becomes.

Q: What factors determine loot distribution when defeating monsters in a team?

A: Loot probability in a team is calculated as follows:
1. Damage Contribution: Higher damage dealt to the monster (as a percentage of the team’s total damage) increases your loot chance.
2. Healing Contribution: Higher healing provided to damage-dealing members (as a percentage of total healing) also increases your loot chance.
3. Priority Weight: Damage dealt has a greater impact on loot probability than healing when values are equal.
4. Zero-Participation Rule: If you deal no damage to the monster AND heal no damage-dealing members, you will receive no loot, regardless of the team’s total damage output.

Q: Is there any difference in loot distribution rules between hunting monsters alone and in a team?

A: No.
The distribution of loot is determined solely by the amount of damage dealt to the monster, regardless of whether you hunt solo or in a team.

Q: Are there any benefits to hunting monsters in a team?

A: Yes. Team hunting provides an EXP bonus.
1. Each member in the team grants a 4% EXP bonus, up to a maximum of 16%.
2. If the team leader is a Royal, an additional 4% EXP bonus is granted, allowing for a maximum total of 20%.

Q: How are EXP and Karma distributed in a team?

A: Distribution is based on the team’s total damage dealt to the monster and the level difference between team members.
1. The higher the total damage dealt by the team, the more EXP/Karma is available for distribution.
2. Additionally, the greater a player’s level advantage over other members, the more EXP/Karma they receive—even if they dealt no damage.

Q: Will hunting in a team affect my chances of obtaining quest items or monster materials?

A: No.
Team hunting only affects the distribution of regular loot. The acquisition of quest items and monster materials is unaffected by team play.

Death Penalty

Q: Why does death cause loss of EXP, item drops, Skill forgetting, or loss of certain buffs?

A: This is the death penalty imposed on the character. It may trigger when the character dies after losing the Newbie Protection status.
After reviving, You can choose to redeem the lost EXP and items, but forgotten Skills must be relearned.

Q: What determines the occurrence of death penalties?

A: It is related to the attributes of the area where the character dies. After losing Newbie Protection, death penalties will occur under the following circumstances based on the area of death:
1. Being killed by monsters in any attribute area.
2. Being killed by other players in a neutral zone.
Note: Tap the marked location to check the current area attributes.

Q: Under what circumstances can death penalties be exempted?

A: If the conditions for death penalties are met, the following situations will exempt you from penalties:
· Lawful Weakling Protection, which requires all of the following conditions:
1. Karma at the time of death ≥ 0.
2. The character is not a “Pink Name” at the time of death.
3. The attacking player is at least 10 levels higher than you.
4. The character still has Newbie Protection status.
Note: The marked content indicates Newbie Protection status.

Q: How can the severity of death penalties be reduced?

A: When suffering death penalties, the loss of EXP and certain buffs is unavoidable. Skill forgetting is random, while the probability of item drops is related to the character’s Karma. The higher the Karma, the lower the chance of item drops.
